23.Sept; Kaliningrad conference to take stock of progress achieved by Lithuania-Poland-Russia cross-border cooperation programm

The event will be coordinated with the VII Annual International Conference “Cross-Border Cooperation: the Russian Federation, European Union and Norway”, which seeks to create conditions for dialogue over a full range of issues concerning the regional development of territories on the EU-Russian border.

 The meeting will enable participants to discuss planned activities and opportunities offered by the Programme and could serve as a forum to explore potential avenues for cooperation in the cross-border area.


The Lithuania-Poland-Russia ENPI CBC Programme aims to develop a zone of shared stability, security and prosperity, involving a significant degree of economic, social and political co-operation between regions of Lithuania (Marjampolis, Taurages and Klaipedos Apskritis); Poland (Gdansk-Gdynia-Sopot, Gdanski, Elblaski, Olsztynski, Elcki, Bialostocko-Suwalski);and Kaliningrad Oblast in Russia.


The programme contributes to building mutual trust and progressive regional economic integration in line with principles of subsidiary and sustainability. The focus is on joint projects/efforts involving local and regional authorities, SMEs associations, NGOs and the general public.
